This movie is the followup to Rite of Passage, and currently closing to the first part being completely rendered and ready to be post and sent out to the web. There will be two versions of this due to content.
One of them will be ideal for websites like Youtube and such where nudity and sexual content will likely result in banning. Either an alternate clip or cuts have/will be made to facilitate that. The other will be the "uncut" version..mainly the content, not the fact it will be unedited for story/pace/flow/etc. Essentially it follows a demigoddess (Kayla), who is suffering depression due to her responsibilities and the world's reaction to her (a comment on reaction to religious diversity). She is not truly immortal, but she does reincarnate..so imagine what it must be like to be burned, hung, shot, etc in a 1000 year time span. In the words of Queen, who wants to live forever.
There is a serial killer/rapist(s) in Covenington (fictional town in a real Essex County MA), which is baffling the police. Also there is a being who is half goddess and half demon that Kayla has to deal with as well as being put into yet another conflict between goddesses and demons. Very few religious reference will be made as this is more of a modern fantasy rather than religious commentary. The few that are made will be the view point of Kayla for the reasons mentioned above.
The type of music I am looking for is Symphonic Metal with some vocalization if possible, and Irish Folk. An example of the Symphotic Band would be Kamelot with Roy Khan (I have not heard them with the new singer who is touring, but I listen to a few songs while doing this). Irish Folk I am leaning towards is like Bonny Portmore made famous by Highlander.
Right now, I am going through a re-rendering of a scene, have an alley and a hallway scene, and that wraps episode one for rendering. I will more than likely to help with editing since rendering varies in time, I will create a preview to finish it off and let it all be rendered.
