This is my first big film project at school- and at only six and a half minutes, it isn't huge.
I'm fairly open to ideas as far music is concerned in terms of instruments and sound. The only thing that I can think of is I'm wary of anything that is too dramatic or too emotional. I like that the story is really unsatisfying for the main character, James, so music that is too emotional wouldn't fit so well I don't think.
Again, I'm fairly open to ideas. It can be as sparse and haunting and un-melodic as There Will Be Blood, or as pretty as something from The Assassination of Jesse James, or anywhere in between- as long as it works for the story, and isn't so much music that it distracts from or overwhelms the story.
