Singer/songwriter Kathi Kowski was writing songs before she even received her first guitar at age twelve. She has an extensive catalog of original songs ranging from adult contemporary to alternative rock.
In the mid-90’s she was the singer and main songwriter for Baltimore favorite Mommi I'm Scared, a band that garnered attention up and down the east coast for its live performances and distinctive songs. Through hard work and relentless writing and performing, MIS received great regional press coverage, performed regionally, and charted in the Top 10 on the CMJ.
Kathi currently performs as both a solo artist and with her band, Ros Wilting. Maintaining their indie spirit, Ros Wilting produced, engineered and recorded their debut CD in their very own Sound Shed Studios. Released in June 2008, 'Ros Wilting' is currently available on CDBaby, itunes, Amazon, and many other digital download sites. One of the CD’s songs, Lost In Poland, won Honorable Mention in the prestigious Mid-Atlantic Song Contest in 2008. A few new songs have already received airplay and attention by indie radio stations and websites.
