Zach has composed, performed, and studied music for over half of his life.
He began his studies in classical music at the age of 7, and continues to study. He also began to play the piano at this age, and now can perform anything from classical to jazz, even to heavy metal.
Zach can compose and perform a variety of styles. His primary composition style is orchestral scores, whether it be romantic or action-filled. At his disposal are the following tools:
- Finale 2008
- FruityLoops (percussion)
- An upright piano and Yamaha keyboard
- Several available soloist, performing strings, brass, and rhythm.
Several of Zach's influences are the powerful and purposeful chords in Zimmer's scores, the melodic orchestration of John Williams, the touching themes from James Newton Howard's music for strings, and various romantic composers- Rachmaninoff, Samuel Barber, etc.
