Film Music Opportunities
Christos was born in Larnaca, Cyprus and started having clarinet lessons with his father from a young age. In 1992 he joined the Larnaca Music School. From an early age Christos also began to show a great interest in many other musical topics. This gave him the opportunity to expand his knowledge of playing and performing. In 2003 he was accepted to study a Bachelors Degree in Music at Canterbury Christ Church University with clarinet Professor David Campbell.

As a founding member of the 'David Campbell Clarinet Quartet' he has given successful performances in England (including the London College of Music, Canterbury Festival and many others) as well as Cyprus in Larnaca's Festival of Classical Music in April 2003.

After graduating with a First Class Honours Degree he was awarded the Larissa Lovelock Memorial Scholarship as 'the most outstanding performer of the year who also applied for a post-graduate degree in the same institution'.

Christos then went on to gain a Masters Degree in Clarinet Performance from Canterbury Christ Church University. Several other countries in which he has performed include Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Russia and United Kingdom.

Christos is also a keyboard player, an arranger and orchestrator. He has arranged music for several ensembles and groups including the David Campbell Clarinet Quartet, Canterbury Orchestra and Wind Band as well as various ensembles in Cyprus, Greece and the UK.

Since 2006, Christos has enjoyed quite a busy career in composing film music, including music for several movies and film projects produced by the Media and Film Studies department of Canterbury Christ Church University, as well as composing for independent productions. Also few of his collaborations include John Harle, Mark Slater, George Kallis and many more.

Although Christos started out composing mostly student films his expertise in the area of film music enabled him to expand his horizons to a more professional sphere of compositions. More recently he has composed music for a number of successful broadcast films and documentaries and he looks forward to making more connections with directors within the film industry so that he can continue to expand his musical contribution to the industry.
