Biography
Based out of the East bay, California, Zen Vendetta has truly blended modern rock with classic rock to create the sound of the future. Not afraid to break the rules, Scott Eckardt brings back the sharp vocals of the past, with his own bite of modern intensity. Zen Vendetta is a blend of veteran and talented musicians who do what they love to do. Scott's intense vocals, Evan's solid drum hits, the shredding melodies and crunch of guitarist Mark Laspina, mixed with Josh Wolfer's ball busting melodies on the bass, make up this 4 piece blend of energy and soul. They may be a relatively new band, originally formed in late 2005 with the final roster completed in Feb, of 2008. Zen Vendetta has not hesitated in performance or writing. Appearances have been made in many well known, packed venues including The Viper Room, the Cat Club in Hollywood, the Fat Cat Music House in Modesto, The Catalyst in Santa Cruz, and the Sleep Train Pavilion. Collectivley, they've played with acts such as, UFO, SugarCult, Joe Perry from Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Zak Wylde of Ozzie Osbourne, Black Label Society, Slayer, Motley Crue, Slaughter, Dave Menniketti of Y&T, Pat Travers, Journey, Night Ranger, Def Leppard & The Atomic Punks just to name a few. Zen Vendetta walked the Red Carpet at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards in 2007 and were interviewed on TV. ZenVendetta is working to finish up their full length Album due out, sometime in the early part of 2008.

Our song "I'm Alive" would be perfect in a natural disaster documentary or movie about a major disaster like the Hurricane Katrina Disaster. the song was inspired from this tragic event and how the government was slow to react, once again and also how people stood together, tall & proud, as they looked to the sky to their rescuers to say hey! "I'M ALIVE"
