I'm new to the prospect of writing music for films. I've been playing in rock bands for the last 7 years (unsigned) and have slowly built my home studio and sample library to the point where I can record/compose for a variety of styles and needs. Over the last 2 years, I've focused on building a portfolio of music, representing different style and moods for different uses.

tension builders (someone sneaking around or spying on someone, stalking, investigation, people hard at work to meet a deadline, someone on a mission)
scenes in nightclubs, bars, hangouts, or parties (hard-hitting techno and rock/metal tracks, no vocals)
travel scenes (person/group of people traveling/journeying cross country or over a long distance involving panoramic shots of landscapes)
