The band THE GOD was founded on September 11, 2001 by God Tronk Inrubas as a response to the religious politics behind the tragic terrorist attacks. THE GOD aim to infuse their music with philosophy to reach and bring people together with broad questions on spirituality and life. The name "The God" stems from the philosophy that every organic creation is equal. The belief is based on the idea that God is within everyone and everything. "It means seeing the world as one entity rather than trying to separate humankind into smaller, feuding divisions," assures founder God Tronk Inrubas.
