SONICBIDS ARTIST REVIEW
GENRE: URBAN/R & B AMBIENT
Onre Nobles home Maple Heights, Ohio and his choice of tempo, beats and instrumental embellishments is as sweet as maple syrup. Many of these songs are well suited for soundtrack and motion picture placement.
First up is "Flip The Coin" a quirky, futuristic sounding collection of bell-like sounds driven by a continuous driving beat. "B Side Ur Self" would slide perfectly into an action movie sequence. The R&B beat of "Don't Just Talk About It" is a hard groove to resist boppin' your head to. The eerie jazz quality of the keyboard riffs creates a hypnotic droning mood.
Now with the Afro Cuban Latin mix on "I Feel You" Onre Nobles feels more at home. The conga beats and horn sections compliment each other well. With "It Happens" a Marvin Gaye beat flows into a keyboard/vocal cry. There is a James Brown influence to the rhythm for "B Sure of Ur Self". Onre which is French my musical back ground starts as early as eleven years old I was first introduced to the music world. I’ve played top 40 R&B later moving to jazz. I later created a style of music which came from around the world.
