we are a small record label based in Cleveland, Ohio. we currently have a roster of 15 bands and we are growing almost weekly. we are probably what you might call a "rock" label, but we also have bands that perform metal, hip hop, trip hop, electronic, spy/thriller compositions, instrumental rock, acoustic rock, Japanese indie rock, alternative, dance and much more!

we have a band on our roster called the firmary who have a few songs that seem destined for use in film whether its the upbeat intensity of their song "love and a microphone" which goes perfect with a snowboarding or skateboarding video or the uplifting "new again" a song that tells the story of hope, rebirth all in a nifty top 40 pop single package.
bell portable is an acoustic project that writes songs of love, romance, lost hope, and the song "Atlanta" is a great match for a long driving scene during an unforgettable roadtrip.
esper talaw is an indie rock band from japan that writes quirky rock tunes with catchy hooks in english and japanese.
need some hip-hop for a club scene? finless brown is a hip-hop group that steers clear of the gansta image and instead replaces it with thoughtful lyrics and live instrumentation. mix in female vocals as well as female rapping and your movie scene will stand out.
i guess the bottom line is at approachingstorm records our diverse lineup has something for almost any occasion (admittedly we have no good songs for animal sacrifice...yet)
