Inwardly experimental, occasionally polyrhythmic and often primitive, it can be abrasive and caustic but at other times pensive and reflective. And from time to time, a strange melody, harmony or rhythm will rear it's head.
I generaly try to avoid any kind of electronica, favouring instead an assortment of live instruments and percussion, resulting in an earthy and natural sound.
ps:- I should point out that I have never done a film score before, so I am more than happy to compose something for free even if it doesn't get used. Experience will be most useful.
