I compose and perform music that has been called "stream of concsiousness", "relaxed but focused", "intense" and "pushing the edge but comfortably in the middle". My compositions can range from delicate fingerstyle guitar often compared to Will Ackerman to solo New Age/minimalist piano, to more percussive, frenzied, machine-like layered orchestrations akin to Steve Reich, Terry Riley and Phillip Glass. In addition to electronic effects and color I sometimes capture organic samples and blend them into the orchestration. Beyond guitar and keyboard synth I also work with traditional instruments such as a kalimba and native american wood flutes. Additionally I work with a percussionist who brings both real and experimental "found" sounds into our canvas.

4) I have a piece called "Running" that a critique suggested it would be perfect for an underwater scene...
5) I have a song called "River" that's very story like about a man's life-long relationship with a body of water in rural Arkansas.
6) Another composition called "November Rain on the Fields" is a visual musical journey through the coming fall in middle America.
7) By contrast a current piece on My Space page (link above) called Beirut is a visual capturing in music of the current plight in the Middle East.
