I am most comfortable with orchestral styles. I create memorable melodies and themes with orchestrations that will enhance the emotion of your scene beyond your expectations without distracting from your mission as a filmmaker.
I use the orchestra as a tool to add drama, romance, excitement, mystery, or whatever else you need through carefully planned tension and release.
A music editor on a recent project was quoted as saying, during a panel discussion: "momentary dark and mysterious excerpts enhance the beauty of this particular cue by providing contrast to this beautiful soaring string section. Kevin did an awesome job at making the mysterious parts just as beautiful -- if not, more -- than the romantic scenes. It worked out perfect."

| Any scene with emotion, no matter how subtle. I enjoy taking subtle elements or forshadow in a scene and incorporating that into the music. My music can really drive a story forward because of my understanding and tight integration with the film.
