What we (Bernadette Giacomazzo and Melissa Deskovic) have is a unique project. We just wrote a book called SWIMMING WITH SHARKS, geared towards the independent music community. The book has come with a compilation CD called SHARK BAIT, featuring work by independent artists from all over the world. The response has been overwhelming -- critics and musicians alike love the book, and several musicians have gotten in touch with us to find out when the next SHARK BAIT compilation will be released. We also recently entered into cooperative sponsorship agreements with Karma Mics and Jalo Guitars, and are working on more cooperative sponsorships.
We'd like to be able to enter into an agreement with you where we give you the songs to be entered into your database for consideration for films. If there's pay involved, we'd take a small commission (no more than 5% of the payment), and give the rest to the musicians. In this way, we'd be able to help out more musicians, and give them more exposure, and give YOU the music that you need. Everyone wins!
We work with musicians from a variety of genres, so simply tell us what you need and we will get it for you!
