I coined my own term "space blues" after sitting back and listening to some of the things I'd done. Guitar is main instrument (electric and acoustic), but mix it up with a lot of effects. I try not to hit people over the head with the sounds, but let it breathe enough so they can back away from it if they want. Nevertheless can get loud and heavy if needed. I also have a real thing for instrumental synth/space music, my piece "Recoil" on the cd (see above site) is a good example. My cd "The Wierd, The War, and The Blues" is a good cross-section of what I do. "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" is probably a signature song for me.

| The ending scene in "Full Metal Jacket", where they're marching and whistling the Mouseketeers theme could have been overlaid with my version of "When Johnny Comes Marching Home". My song "Winter Days" could fit in any "realization of betrayal" scene, I think. Same with "Ain't It Grand".
