Almost all of my music is vocal / lyric driven. I write a range of lyric-driven songs: from alternative folk (a la Ani Difranco) to vocal, jazz standards (a la Cole Porter or Rufus Wainwright).
Currently, my music is jazz or acid jazz oriented, played by small combos augmented with some traditional sounds (string quartets) and non-traditional sounds and voices (HipHop MCs and turntables).

| My jazz writing would fit perfectly behind a scene at a swanky bar, or at an upscale store or restaurant. It would fit well in any scene that required a jazz standard type song in the background. It would also go well in a romantic comedy like "When Harry Met Sally."
