People always describe our music as very moody & atmospheric which is why I think it would work well in film & TV.
An amalgamation of folk, rock, country & blues often with a slightly dark edge.
Emphasis is always on melody and lyrics.
Have quite a variety of song styles as some tracks swing more towards folk whereas others could be classed as modern rock.
Vocals are emotional sounding and affecting.

Off the top of my head - we have a song called All I Ask which is a man's plea for his woman to treat him as well as he treats her. It is based on the idea of a woman who is self destructive and how the man trys to help her but is constantly struggling "You talk to me so savagely, and keep me from your bed, you know I'd never ever harm a hair upon your head, all I ever want to do is save you from yourself, the ghosts of hurtful words gather like dust upon our shelves, so I ask of you to be for me what I would be for you, only that you look on me, the way I look on you".
I reckon this song would suit many a film about relationships or self destructive people.
