Film Music Opportunities
I have written songs in a variety of musical styles. All my music has lyrics, is guitar oriented, and tends to not exceed the standard three or four minute limit of most popular music on the radio. I have recorded three CD's in the last four years, and they are all different. In 2002, I released 'Final Justice', a humorous, all too real satire on modern American culture. Featuring an Americana/Classic Rock sound, blending fact with fiction, 'Final Justice' details a host of off the wall characters and thier dreams. 'Goin to Realsville' , my second CD, is filled with the acoustic Country Blues sounds of the 20's and 30's. The four originals on this album compliment the covers of the classic blues of yesterday.
Last but certainly not least, my latest CD, 'Will You Cry When I Die?' has been described as Adult Rock, or Adult Alternative. It has touches of jazz, blues, rock, and has an overall feel of a singer/songwriter project, complete with a few ballads. The lyrics are very dramatic and spiritual, tending to sound more like philosophy. I spent two years recording this record, with thirteen different musicians tracking over that span, the music features horns, female harmony vocals, fluid slide guitar, organ and piano, percussion, and more. All of my music has been professionally recorded at Vistamix studios, operated by Randy Krispinsky.

If any important character in a film has died or is dying, my song 'Will You Cry When I Die?' would be perfect. There are two versions posted of this song. One is in 4/4 time and has a funky New Orleans funeral vibe and the other version is a waltz, is more jazzy, with an ambient feel.
My song 'Happy', is a lullaby ballad for lovers, maybe after they were just married, or lounging at the beach.
'Tsunami Blues' played in a minor tuning with a slide, has an eerie sound and would fit during any part of a movie or documentary about the recent tsunami tragedy.
The song 'I'm 28 years old and I work at a convenience store' is the ultimate slacker song, very humorous lyrics with an alternative/country/punk beat and a guitar solo reminiscent of Stevie Ray Vaughn or the Allman Brothers.
