Although primarily a rock band, Local Instinct has a diversity and mix of inspiration enough to convey many emotions and travel through several genres of music.

I began singing before talking. Grew up singing gospel music with my Grandmother. She is the one who started me on this path through this life and I am forever greatful. I have been collaborating writing and playing music for the past 15 years in the band Local Instinct. It is a wonderful feeling and place to be. I do not see it stopping any time soon.
More about Local Instinct...
Three of us grew up in the same hometown, grew up with family church backgrounds, so this adds something to the sound that comes out of us. The complete five of us have known and worked with eachother for a substantial number of years. This also distinguishes our sound and music.
Although most of the time performing as Local Instinct, our music falls into the expanse of rock music, but live performance, while good, is not the same as writing and recording music, which we do well, and love.
