Joe Docherty a skilled multi-instrumental artist who has been creating original music since the mid 90's. He is an accomplished pianist,electric and acoustic guitarist and bassist, who runs his own professional studio in Vancouver, Canada.
Joe Docherty has had the opportunity to work on independent short films and videos, commercials and television shows. Several of his compositions for films and videos have been showcased at international film festivals, and also broadcasted in Canada on Zed-TV.
Joe Docherty's styles are as vast as his influences, which include Lalo Schifrin, Led Zeppelin, Ennio Morricone,Miles Davis,Faith No More, Bernard Herrmann,Don Ellis and Pink Floyd to name a few. He is also influenced by all stles of jazz(50's,60's) classical and world music.
