Incidental music that could fit as suspense, romance background, horror background, mystery background, similar sometimes to TV crime dramas. I often use Oriental or Eastern instrumental overtones, tremolo and reverb guitar effects, synthesizer effects all laid into single pieces. I also compose some variants of the 3 a.m. type of jazz. I have done some orchestral pieces of varying flavors, some light, some heavy. Also have synthesizer effects for electronica.

Any edgy scene for mystery, horror or drama. Contemplative -- eerie.
I do a lot of noire music that fits many genres. I also do pieces that are rather happy and lighthearted. Most pieces are varied throughout and can be disected for different segments if required.

| Wow, David Newby really was my savior for this film's soundtrack. Scoring and finding music for my film were always always the biggest headaches and David basically took me under his wing and was able to directly work with me and my storyboards and came up with these amazing pieces of music. Just brilliant sounds.
I'm pretty new at this whole "finding a composer to score your film professionally" and I had my doubts because before I would just sorta ask my friends to play music for me and that was that but Mr Newby went above and beyond the call of duty and completely blew me away with his speed and quality to produce tracks in a matter of hours. So yes I think David sold his soul to the devil for such immense talent. I strongly advise anyone whose just as new to Versus Media to def contact David Newby. for anything.
