Edgy folk-pop influenced by a range of singers and songwriters, from Joni Mitchell to Jon Brion, from Ella Fitzgerald to Patty Griffin, driven by powerful vocals. Though accessible to a broad audience, Kristy's songs often have surprising lyrical twists and intriguing wordplay. Currently, Kristy plays with upright bassist Mike Chiaburu, who brings a modern-day chamber music feel to her music at times, and at others, a jazzy, improvisational twist.
