Formed in February 2000, RazorBladeKisses is a unique band comprised of an unusual blend of varying talents and desires. Ever contradicting yet when conjured delivering what can only be described as the secret recipe for enchanting melodies embedded in to the canvas of each one of their creations in shape of their songs and visuals. Hailing from distant Persia, the two female vocalists Layla and Azadeh create unique lyrical and melodic tunes, which give life to a true enchanted fairytale from one thousand and one night. The harmonies and the stories unfolded in their sound scapes are innocent yet deceiving, seductive and edgy.
These vocals are layered with classical violins (Phil), guitars (Andy and James) and synth to give shape to a true unique style, which defines the alternative art style of RazorBladeKisses.
All and all the band's audio and visual creations present the audience with a musical palette, which can only belong to a fairytale. The contrasting chapters of this fairytale can bring back haunting memories from the days of the childhood and yet be so fragile, soothing and dreamy as to accompany the listener on the saddest days of a cold autumn.

| any scene from most Tim Burton movies. Sweet fairytale gone wrong. The scene with the twins in the shining! The expression Ready Teddy Death describes our music very well too..
