Recently, I've been composing primarily cinematic instrumental music tracks or grooves that are ambient and melodic in nature. I also have music arrangements that are orchestral in nature. As you'll listen to some of my tracks, you'll hear that my music serve the purpose of recreating an environment, space, energy and atmosphere. Available and perfect for many background music uses.
Yes, I also compose contemporary music in the following genres;i.e. dance, pop, hiphop, r&b, rock, latin and jazz. I've melded all of these genres into a delightful synthesis of sensuous, seductive and provocative urban music that I entitled 'Funky Urban Nights' which is the name of my new digital Album and CD. Most of these tracks have done and continue to do well in mobile music industry serving as ringtones, real tones amd music for mobile games. As a composer, I try to incorporate good musicianship, modern technology(eletronically or accoustically) and dynamic music approaches to create an enrichment of contemporary sounds. My music is available for your film, DVD, video game and other multimedia projects. I've recently composed the soundtrack to the highly-anticipated film, 'Cain and Abel', which has gotten rave reviews from the Sundance Film festival 2006. 'Cain and Abel' also premiered at the Venice, CA Film Festival 2006 and was nominated for three awards including 'The Abbot Kinney Award', the 'Audience Award' and the 'Distinquished Filmmaker Award'.
In a military war/thriller film, DVD or video game, there would be segment where the troops are preparing to attack there enemies and one of my tracks entitled 'Greg's Overture' is playing in the background music providing the atmosphere of intensity and anticipation as the soldiers prepare to engage in battle. Request this entire track and you will hear the full range of emotions and all the drama it depicts. That's just one of the movie scenes that this particular track, 'Greg's Overture' could be used in.
