Ethereal pop/rock piano & 12 string guitar with harp flourishes ranging from alternative folk to mellow electronica. Poetic lyrics, dreamy vibe, songs from punchy jazz stylings to basic rock beats with electric guitar. Short bio: Bridget Brigitte’s CD "Where Birds Meet in the Rain" was recorded by engineers for Jewel and Blink 182 (Bionic Sisters Productions). A prolific songwriter, she performs all original poetic tunes on guitar/harp/piano and people compare her to Joni Mitchell. She is a 2003 Call to Arts Creative Vision Song Contest winner and her music videos are shown in the Payne County Film Festival (TV 33, cable 3), on Access Central TV (MNN, Cox, Time Warner), and on San Diego Cox Cable. She has also been a regular guest on The Shemm Show (Adelphia TV, Cox, Comcast) and her own “Bridget Brigitte Special” TV show aired recently. Among other venues, she has performed at Hard Rock Café, First Night, Celebrity Center, Cat Club, Virgin (US), The Anchor, Sudbury Downs (Canada), Slattery’s, The Chancery Pub (Ireland), Le Duplex, Blues Etc. (France) and was featured in the World Fusion Divas Concert Series in Hollywood as well as in GIRL and Tsunami (both covered by ABC). You can catch her on One Way Magazine’s summer 2003 CD sampler (next to tracks by Liz Phair and Lou Reed) and in the national college magazine U Magazine. The San Diego Reader writes that “Bridget’s singing is a cross between Janis Ian and Jill Sobule” and OC Weekly writes that “Bridget Brigitte…was…lilting-cool adult-alternative.” She has been instrumental in organizing & performing in music shows and has feautured more than 100 other artists in them (shows usually have a mix of 50% women 50% men & an international flavor). She was a Los Angeles Music Awards Independent Adult Contemporary Artist of the Year nominee and Women's International Center Spirit Award winner. She was recently chosen to perform at a CA senators' & governor's function.
