I call my music "funk and roll". It's a cross between classic rock (the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, David Bowie) and funk (Prince, Parliament, James Brown). I also mix in bits of spoken word and rap. Imagine Prince doing classic rock, or Sly and the Family Stone doing alternative, or The Red Hot Chili Peppers using more songcraft.
