My music is a combination of early 20th century classical and acoustic jazz. My main instrument is a piano, but I can write and record a variety of other instruments. Having gone to New England Conservatory for undergrad I have a strong basis in legit classical composition. I can write for avant-garde Jon Brion-esque pop, can score for orchestra, and can create different moods with a variety of sounds. My music ranges from dissonant colors to tonal grooves, and often both at once.

| Hard to pin-point, because I write a wide range of music. Ideally, i like movies that are presenting a view of reality, because my strongest medium is acoustic sounds: violins, piano, french horn. Anything that is in touch with a sense of culture, world-wide folk values. My favorite movies are stories about people, like The Natural, or Eternal Sunshine.
