My specialty is hard edged music that kind of ranges on the nostalgic, for me a movie like "a Knights Tale" would of been better off with lesser known original music that using old hits from the 70's & 80's I love that music and it's great music, but it would of done the picture more justice to use unknown songs of that genre.
If I were to pick soundtracks that my music closely resembles, it would be movies, like Pitch Black, or Reign of Fire, or even "Rock Star" which that movie used the concept I am talking about. The producers actually used great musicians like Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen and others to create a "time piece" but totally original music (to the extent you can actually do that in today's world)
I would like to say as a player and composer I am completely original, but that would be a semi-false statement, because you learn from your hero's and I learned from some of the best, Guitarists like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Eric Johnson are among my greatest heros, Bass Players, Like John Myung, Billy Sheehan, Geddy Lee, and Tony Levin are among those list of hero's and as a keyboardist I am always influenced by Jan Hammer, Jordan Rudess, and Kevin Moore as well as the great John Lord.
I am capable with my 64 track Digital Audio Studio of completing any project and because of my midsized/small city location I have lower overhead than most composers allowing me to be able to pull in real musicians instead of synthesized tracks on most of my recordings, my studio is well equipped and I can deliver music in the genre's I have stated to you on DVD, CD, or Cassette (heaven forbid) I can also deliver to you over the internet via FTP or NetMeeting in MP3 or MPEG Audio formats.

| I think the best scene that I could provide music for would be the scene in the movie, the Art of War when Wesley Snipes comes down off the Roof and into the gala ball. That would of been a great scene. Another scene would be in Desperado, when Antonio Bandaras walks into the bar in Mexico. Or in the movie the "Punisher" when he is riding in the subway.
