My mostly instrumental music is many layers of sound, spacey, and comes from a background of listening to alternative, ambient, punk, jazz, and classical music. I have played and recorded guitar and effects the most, and added cello, theremin, bass, circuit bent keyboard, and homemade string instruments in the last several years. The end result is a kind of looped guitar and sounds, from sleepy to manic, or maybe a nice fluffy cloud dream to a nightmare space vision. I have also in the past recorded pop type (meaning with lyrics and sort of verse-chorus-verse) alternative songs, somewhat like Sonic Youth, Built to Spill or My Bloody Valentine.
