My songs range in style from country to rock, from blues to funk, but they all have a roosty feel, an acoustic guitar and my bluesy voice. People have told me that I remind them of Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt, as well as Etta James and Chaka Kahn- kind of a soulful, country, singer-songwriter thing. My debut album, Let it go, is really a collection of confessions, f-you’s, and mostly true stories (names have been omitted to protect the not-so-innocent). there are samples on my band website. I am currently rehearsing songs for a second album and have a few tracks laid down already. I have singing experience with many styles of music including blues, jazz, country, folk, rock, r&b and funk.
