Kid Lucky is a beat-MC. He has the unique ability to beatbox and speak in rhyme at the same time. Kid Lucky has been performing all over NYC and the US. since 1997 and has worked with numerous of vocalists. Kid Lucky combines beatboxing, spoken word, scatting and electric vocals for a one man show that is nothing less than stunning. In August of 2002 Kid Lucky founded the first production company to promote human beatboxing: Beatboxer Entertainment. The first show was produced by Kid Lucky and Brandon Emerick. It was called Beatboxing and The Art of Spoken Word. It was the first series of its kind ever created. It opened to rave reviews with the NY Daily news declaring the show as 'The real beat generation!' Timeout NY called the beatboxers in the series 'masters in the art of noise.' Doug E Fresh said 'Kid Lucky is doing something I wish I would have thought of.' Kid Lucky has performed and worked with beatboxers such as Doug E Fresh, Ready Rock C, Kenny Muhammad, Taylor Mcferrin, Jase Mason, Eminon, D-Cross, MC Squared, Baba Israel, Wes Carrol, Stack, Akim Funk Buddha and more. Other vocalist he has worked with include Miles Griffith, Marya Lawrence, David Pleasant, Tonni Smith, M, Stephanie Mckay, Imani Uzuri, Marshell Jones, Piper Anderson to name a few. Spoken word artists he has collaborated with include The Last Poets, Stream of Conscious, Everton Sylvester, Mike Ladd, MC Beans, Jane Lecroy, Galinsky, Bob Holman, Paul Skiff, Tomosia, Mahogany Jones and others.
