From intimate ballads to thunderous epics traversing an eclectic musical territory sirencircus possess a lyrical acuteness and musical originality that inspire. This songstress duo is the sublime voice of composer twins Cathryn and Lucie Robson. Their songs have been released on British and European labels specialising in alternative song and also been featured in several independent films. The Robson twins have composed for theatre and dance companies, as well as collaborated with performance poets. They have recorded and performed extensively – their album ‘Solid Poems on a Ghost of a Subject’ was voted amongst the best albums of 2000 by an international left-field music poll. The same poll earned the Robson twins top twenty places in the best female vocalist category. They even topped Madonna!
sirencircus are very interested in placing their material with visual media i.e. film and television. Their own left-of-centre approach to music makes them particularly in tune with independent artists of all descriptions, and this is why they wish to promote their music to independent visual media artists.
