I am a guitarist/singer/producer with a number of national tours, high-end theater production, national television and album credits to my name. Nevertheless, I still consider myself an independent musician.
My latest cd, "Color Blind," falls primarily in the roots/folk/rock categories. That being said, the cd has influences and sounds ranging from heavy rock to gospel to western swing. Most songs fall into the 3-4 minute pop song format, though there are some longer electric guitar showcases and some acoustic guitar ballads as well. Sally Taylor (the daughter of James Taylor and Carly Simon) is a featured vocalist on two of the songs. I have toured nationally with the Sally Taylor Band for many years and I have performed on several occasions with Carly Simon.
I have a backlog of independent music available in a variety of styles: acoustic and electric blues, rock, pop, R&B, gospel, swing, alternative, new-age, lots of things. I have had music placed in some small independent films before, as well as in the Farrelly brothers/Jim Carrey comedy, "Me, Myself and Irene." It is very convenient for me to license out music which I have already recorded.
I also have a small home studio and access to many professional studios at very competitive rates for new music for clients who want something in particular.
