b.d.t. has divined the future of the Muse and has, through his anti-alter-prophet-ego rock band, b.d.t. and the Chameleon Voice, transmitted poe(m)usi(c)ommuniqués to brain waves and air waves around the world, performing in such diverse venues as NYC’s Cornelia Street Café, Detroit’s Scarab Club, and Ann Arbor’s Guild House. During the 1990s, he performed with several Chicago-based outfits, including Bi-Bim-Bop, the Non-Prophets of Jazz featuring Lucy Smith, Chika, Dhamba 8, and as Wolfy, the musical director for the Uncle Bug (traveling) Children’s Puppet Theater. His poetry has appeared in many reputable and not-so-reputable journals, including a United Nations anthology. He has two recordings, Eureka! and The Chameleon Voice, both on the Busy Flower Productions label.
This is music for people with brains in their heads and blood in their hearts.
