Lynn Julian writes theme song for the "Terminal Diner" Graphic Novel & TV Show
Lynn Julian, was commissioned by Sonic Comics to compose the theme song for their graphic novel, "The Terminal Diner." Instead of the usual origin story, the DINER welcomes readers with wrap-around introductions to the “guest chefs” who cooked up each story, plus the premise: Aspiring comic book artist Sam Levesque from Moose Harbor, Maine has found a magic Ring that grants wishes, punishes the wicked, rewards the good, and links him to the Diner’s delightful-but-deadly owner, the immortal Genie X. Julian's themesong will air in TV commercials this Fall and there is also a TV show pilot in production. This marks the beginning of their partnership, as Sonic Comics will next begin work on a series for "Julian's" superhero alter ego: "Cookie Cutter Girl." She will CO-write the comic with Ron & Justine Fontes, of SonicPublishing.com, and it will be drawn by Ron, who is the ex-art director for
Marvel Comics. http://www.CookieCutterGirl.com
Currently, Julian is concentrating on promoting her just released concept CD, "Cookie Cutter Girl," about her Super Hero alter ego of the same name, who is freeing women everywhere from the mold in which society holds them captive. Self-produced through her record label, Cookie Cutter Records, the CD is full of "POWER POP with a PUNCH." It consists of twelve tracks that tell the story of the birth of "Cutter," and will be accompanied by a CD Rom Comic Book story of her adventures. Julian produced, arranged, wrote and performed all songs on the album. She was aided, in performance, by some of the top musicians in the state.
Song's from the CD, such as "Get the Picture" and "Jenny," are featured on 6 compilation CDs and played on indie radio stations internationally. Julian is also in negotions with several publishing houses for placement of her songs in TV, film. At the moment, two producers are considering re-recording both "Jenny" and "Get the Picture?" to shop Julian for a record deal. Spending countless hours each week researching promotional ideas, she is a perfect example
of an independent artist, that has branded herself and is motivated to sell her own product.
