| Dimitar Pentchev scores legendary silent! |

"Pandora's Box"(1929), starring Louise Brooks will be released later this year on DVD by Criterion Collection and will feature an original score by VersusMedia composer Dimitar Pentchev. The score bridges the 1920s-30s German cabaret style with some contemporary and innovative approaches to scoring silent films(parallel unconnected music lines, creating spatial effect, minimalistic elements and a feel of improvisation at the same time).
The film has been scored numerous times throughout the years but according to Barry Paris, biographer of Louise Brooks and author - "this is the definitive score for 'Pandora'".
