Award-winning songwriter and composer Rostislav Gilman (M.A.) has studied composition for screen, jazz composition, conducting and electroacoustic music at the University of Music, Vienna and the Royal College of Music, London. He is also an award-winning violinist and former concertmaster of the European Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed throughout Europe, Japan and Australia. Rostislav has cooperated with filmmakers and musicians from all over the world and has composed in a wide variety of genres ranging from film scores for symphonic orchestra, jazz big band, ensembles and soloists to music for theater, electronic, pop and rock music.
As a hard-working and dedicated composer with over 25 years of experience in music Rostislav is always looking for new challenges welcoming projects from every film genre.
