I am a composer, who loves to write for the symphonic orchestra. I have composed music for nearly every imaginable idiom but I love writing for the Orchestra.
To describe my music would be a difficult task as it is very eclectic and varied.
It could be played full force by a symphonic orchestra in a concert, or be the background for a film or documentary. It could portray a mountain stream rolling gently over stones or forcefully over boulders while deer graze on its banks. It could depict the excitement of a Ferrari racing in the Grand Prix. It could conjure up the image of a lonely New York Street at 2:00AM. It could represent a thunderstorm in the high Sierras or a scene from Death Valley. It could underscore a chase scene in a James Bond Movie or a romantic love scene. It could be a jazz combo in Harlem at 3:00 AM or a string quartet at the Guggenheim Museum on a Sunday afternoon. It could be a honky tonk piano in New Orleans or Pavaroti at the Met. It could depict the surprise or fantasy of a Disney Movie or a mangy character in a Sergio Leone film.
My main interest is composing for the symphonic orchestra, but I have also written extensively for jazz ensembles, Broadway Musicals, sacred music, pop and Latin.
The scope of my style is broad and eclectic, capable of working with all periods and styles.
