I've been a multi-instrumentalist for 18 years, having played and recorded with many bands.
Film composing seems like a logical step (as the number of participants on this website prove!) I have done a soundtrack (including many different styles of music) for a roller blading video (called 'Bladez' by Jon) and some songs of an old band of mine called 'The Trims' have been used in student films.
I feel confident in being able to compose many different kinds of music from electronic to classical and rock/pop to hiphop.
I am about to undertake a job arranging popular songs for a string quartet, which is also a passion of mine.
I understand that everybody should do some kind of apprenticeship so I am ready to do some initial projects for no fee, just credits and a copy of the finished product.
