I like to listen to music, and the music in people and nature. For me composing is a form of listening. In my music I strive to reflect my deepest and most meaningful experiences.
I have an inexhaustible supply of musical ideas. It's just a matter of me spending the time and effort developing them. I want to try everything and anything. I enjoy going through the process of composing just as much as I enjoy the end result. When I compose, I strive to connect with the audience and the musicians (if there are any). Connecting in this way adds meaning to the whole experience.
As you can see from my web site, I have experience composing for acoustic as well as electronic. I've found that experience with one helps the other, e.g. the strange sounds I've learned to hear in the electronic medium, I've also learned to hear in the acoustic medium, and vice versa.
I have a vast repertoire of music in my head to draw from, a highly developed musical point of view, and elaborate software tools to help me realize my musical vision.
