I compose music for the orchestra, and various break-downs of it, including smaller chamber ensembles, if needed. I have recently taken an influence in World Music, combining rare and ethnic instruments with the orchestra. As far as film, I like to work closely with the director if I can, I want to listen to what he/she has to say about the music, regardless of their own musical background, if any. Once I find the "voice" of the film, the rest of the process flows quite smoothly for me. My ultimate goal is to produce a score that is high-quality, pleases the director, and is written in a timely fashion with respects to the release of the film.
