Julie Cain's music is a cinematic blend of roots rock, country and visceral pop. Atmospheric guitars, haunting rhythms and Cain's crystalline alto deliver tales of wanderlust, longing and betrayal on Interstate Hum (Red Dress Records). All songs by Julie Cain, copyright and publishing, Fine As Froghair Music, ASCAP. The EP was produced, recorded, mixed and arranged by Geoff Walcha (Everclear, Kevin Garrett, Four Star Mary) and Greg Eklund (The Oohlas, Everclear) and mastered by Michael Hateley. Musicians include Eklund and Walcha, Stuart Mathis (The Wallflowers, Five For Fighting, Jewel) and Jeff Palmer (Radar Brothers, Checksum, Sunny Day Real Estate). The project was recorded at Baby Bulldog Studio in Los Angeles and Stuart's House and completed in Fall 2005.
