My name is Jonathan Rabson. You've probably never heard of me, but I'm hoping that you'll enjoy my music. :)
I believe one of the things I have to offer is music with a genuine sense of emotion, soul, mood. I realize this is subjective, as emotions are triggered by different things for different people. And this not to deny that I like the "clever mind games and puzzles" aspect of music too.
Anyhow, getting to the "dry" stuff, I'm a classically trained composer and pianist with experience working with many different styles and instrumental combinations. I also have experience as a writer, editor, and computer programmer. I have a Masters degree in composition from the University of Michigan. My teachers have included Samuel Adler, Leslie Bassett, Fred Lerdahl, and William Bolcom.
