My name is Eddie Fleisher and I'm from Cleveland, Ohio. I go under the alias of Johnny La Rock.
I've been playing music since I was young, everything from guitars and bass to synths and samplers, to now working with music software. I'm able to work with a wide variety of styles and genres.
I've been in lots of musical projects in the past, most notably Johnny La Rock & Mush Mouth, a hip-hop group with an old school vibe. Currently, I make music in Presque Vu, an electro-pop/post hip-hop outfit that's essentially my solo project - I wrote and performed all of the songs, with some assistance from friends. The debut Presque Vu CD, "Capgras" was released this summer.
I've also made instrumental music under the name Johnny La Rock. These types of songs can give you an idea of where I can go if I was scoring a film.
Whether you're looking for songs to be placed in your film, or someone to make an exclusive score, I am able to do either.
I also run a small label/collective in Cleveland called La Rock Inc. This gives me access to a number of other musicians who can assist me with various jobs.
