Joel Goffin is a composer whose works have enriched a number of
film, commercial, and video game applications.
Joel launched his distinctive sound at San Fransisco’s first annual
Treasure Island Music Festival as “the Midnight Foundation.” Justin
Scott Dixon, chief engineer for beta records, approached him
to create a unique sound library for television and film companies.
Intrigued by all genres, with a focus on classical and electronica,
his mission has always been to merge the two definitive sounds
creating a soundscape that blends the best of both worlds.
“Working previously as a director/producer of music videos and
short films while living in Atlanta, Georgia, has helped me
understand the struggles and heartaches of a production crew
with the ”wait - hurry up” syndrome that the film world seems to
encounter. Understanding time tables and prioritizing is an art form
