Geoffrey Vernon is a very dynamic and versatile composer as well as a gifted guitarist and pianist. Born to Patrick and Bethany Vernon on January of 1995 Geoffrey began showing a huge interest in music at the very young age of just 7 years old. At just 8 years old he began learning the guitar and piano and he has been playing both instruments ever since that day. He has since then been in a number of various bands, projects and solo projects as well. His musical influence ranges from rock, pop, hip-hop, christian, power pop and yes of course orchestral. Geoffrey of course is a Christian and he says "I find my inspiration thru the love of Jesus Christ. Because it is through him that I have this talent and through him I have the passion to continue making music and sharing my gift with others". At the age of just 13 years old he started writing music and scoring a number of award nominated student films. While Geoffrey is HIGLY demanded by student filmmakers for scoring their films, he is currently working on his first ever feature film called "For Your Entertainment" which is due to release sometime in 2012.
Geoffrey's long life passion of creating beautiful works of art is very evident in the music he produces for the films he scores and composes for. While Geoffrey continues to make memorable scores that are very easy to distinguish from other scores, his way of scoring and composing is very simplistic at the least. He mixes beautiful layers of piano, with emotional strings and amazing effects to create a song that is to say very memorable at the least. Geoffrey finds much of his inspiration in the film's imagery and characters and his love for powerful and touching melodies shines through his music. Geoffrey currently resides in Jacksonville,Florida.
