“XXX” “Apollos” Get ready for an artist unlike any other. I am an artist that will introduce you to “Avant Garde Soul”. I am also an innovator of sound; my music begins with me and is my conception.
I, “XXX” hereby declare that music was and still is my first love. I have always been around it, growing up with Soul Train, Solid Gold, American Bandstand, and of course MTV. My brother, who was a serious funk & jazz musician, added an even greater influence to my musical life.
I consider my music to be described as being “The Difference” or “A Unique Soul”, simply because I write on inspiration; I really don’t know how to classify my music solely because I do not know what journey life will take me on from day to day.
Writing music is like a melting pot of dreams, which comes straight from my heart. I live in Los Angeles California and I own an independent record label called Lotus Entertainment Group LTD. Being an artist, engineer, & producer, I have to respect the many facets of production, writing, composing, arranging, and performing to the highest, because it is my belief that each talent has to be developed and appreciated.
I am an “Avant Gardist” who beams from the root of spirituality, and that love comes from the strong influence of rhythm & blues, jazz, gospel, and house music. I truly feel that the backbone of my music is wonderfully sacred; there is no way to love R & B without appreciating The Gospel of Life!
Within my conceptual world of music I feel that it represents a uniquely driven 21st Century sound, yet being very rooted in the colorful sounds of what made popular music great to this day. My music comes straight from the heart!
Yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever, life can be wonderful when it’s in tact; and to me my musical life radiates the essence of the lotus, a beautiful flower which blossoms from the muddy waters of life’s experience.
