Curt Wilhelmson Bio
Curt started playing in rock bands in the late 70’s and started writing original compositions at the same time. Heavily influenced by the music of Vangelis (Early), Jean Michelle Jarre, Genesis and Tangerine Dream, he was also drawn to film music especially the work of Ennio Morricone and Asian film music. His music mixes the styles of electronic, ambient, gothic and metal music. His music is meant to create a “sonic picture” conjuring images of darkness, light, sadness, joy, fear and strength.
He has released four albums with Sean Kelly as L.O.B. L.O.B. has been a regular featured artist on the TDFZ radio show in London, U.K. They have been on featured on “Hawke Chill out Sessions” HFM radio Market Harborough, England. They have been featured on “Gagliarchives Radio” Z88.9 Philadelphia, PA. They have also been featured in the online Dutch electronic music magazine EMG. Their music has been sold all over the world through ITunes, predominately in Europe and Asia. Their music has also been used in yoga classes in Minnesota.
Recently he released his first solo album under the name of “Novus Engine” since the release of the album his music has been featured on KKUP ( 91.5 FM) No Pigeon Holes Radio, South San Francisco and Monterey Bay Areas and Europe's leading alternative station, Radio Marabu.
