Often not wanting to classify themselves as a Hard Rock or Heavy Metal band, Court Jester jokingly will refer to themselves as “Whiskey Rock…The more you drink, the more we rock!” Although evident from the newest release, “Gina,” Court Jester has no problems rocking the listener out…drunk or sober; the band feels they need to keep a strong sense of humor and keep themselves in reality, so they are now self-proclaimed “Whiskey Rock.” Most closely related to the talent-driven sound of the 80's hard rock/metal scene, Court Jester often is compared to the likes of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Skid Row, Ozzy Osbourne and 70's rockers The Doors, Black Sabbath, and KISS.
