My music is very cinematic. The scenes and emotions of the characters are my guidance. I mold the style of the music around what the film needs and have written pieces for orchestra, choir and different genres - I even wrote a super thrilling suspense music earlier this year. I play piano, accordion and program different music softwares and software instruments. I can write, play, arrange and produce a whole score all by myself, but prefer being able to work with a budget where I can hire musicians and a technical crew. I have studied orchestration at Juilliard and am comfortable writing for an orchestra.
When I write songs they tend to be in the style of pop music or folk and have been described as very image provoking. I am happy to change my style of song writing and make the song fit to the image: for the Oscar nominated film 'Ferry Tales' I created a song a la Macy Gray called 'Girltime'.
